ABOUT GILDED DAY

Gilded Day was founded by Tangina, from a lifelong love of jewellery shaped by family and memory. 

Born in London and raised in Bangladesh, Tangina grew up in a home where jewellery carried meaning. In her family, gold was never just decorative. It marked milestones, celebrations and the women who wore it before her. Pieces were carefully stored away, then brought out again for weddings, gatherings and important days, each time attaching new stories to them. 

Her earliest memories are tied to watching her mother get ready; fastening delicate chains, choosing rings with intention, and layering pieces that felt both effortless and complete. Surrounded by intricate craftsmanship and a culture that values artistry, she developed an early appreciation for detail and design. 

This is where Gilded Day began, with the belief that jewellery should feel lived in. 

A brand rooted in sentiment and designed for now. Gilded Day is jewellery that is considered yet effortless. They are pieces to wear to work, to dinner and to celebrate the beauty of every day.
